Methodology

The coaching practised by Leadesco is based on the principle that each person is naturally creative, resourceful and complete. The coach accompanies the person in the present and in the future, but refrains from giving advice in a co-creative relationship. This relationship is based on the age-old practice of maieutics, or the art of open questioning, thought provocation and then experiential reinforcement leading to transformation.

A coaching programme begins with a 360º Assessment, which involves collecting anonymised data and feedback from the coachee's relationships. The current leadership style is then identified and discussed to raise awareness. This is followed by coaching sessions aimed at achieving the coachee's Grand Agenda. These sessions seek to activate an alignment of the coachee's internal resources to enhance their creativity. Sessions can also include tools for changing perspectives, helping to make decisions, and reading and navigating emotional fields.

At the end of each session, the coachee is invited to synthesise his or her learning from his or her own achievements and experiential exercises. To anchor these discoveries, the coachee commits to one or more concrete actions to be taken between now and the next session.

About the Coach

Gabriel Escobar-Mesley, founder and head coach of Leadesco, offers coaching services based on the Co-Active and ORSC methods, as well as consultancy and sparring partner services for executives and managers.

After 15 years in management positions in business development and IT projects for start-ups, industrial leaders, research centres and consultancies, I support my clients in formulating and achieving their professional goals and life aspirations.

I support clients who are going through a career or life transition, who want to realise a dream, devote more time and energy to what really matters to them, develop their leadership skills and open up a new life trajectory.

Love and the search for harmony are the essence of my life. It's in the exchange and search for the moment of eternity in each encounter that I feel most alive. Fire me up by talking about history, the universe and the end of time, Eastern philosophy and geopolitics. Teach me about permaculture, biology, crafts and whatever your art is.

As a child, I dreamed of being an archaeologist, until a teacher declared that everything had "already been discovered". Later, curiosity led me to study economics and understand the flows in human societies as well as the geological layers of the psyche and their relationship to reality.

Sport is a key element in my equilibrium. After many years of combat sports, I discovered rock climbing. This discipline combines physical and mental concentration to get beyond a problem using technique, style, management of angles (#perspectives) and contortions while drawing on one's strength in a process of elevation. In my spare time, I enjoy singing and walking in the forest and mountains.

Certificate of membership of the International Coaching Federation, a non-profit association founded in 1995, guaranteeing adherence to the Code of Ethics of the coaching profession.

Training in and adherence to the principles and techniques of Organization & Relationaship Systems Coaching, systemic coaching for the support and coaching of teams and projects.

Certification as a practitioner of the 360º Assessment tool, which measures creative skills and reactive behaviours, revealing leadership style and impact.
